The first monument that everybody thinks of when you say “Paris” is, well, duh! The Eiffel Tower! So it was off to the tower for us. The last stop of our tour, as well as the location of our dinner. And here we go:
Look at that gorgeous view! This was taken on top of some heater thing (I wasn’t supposed to climb it but…), which is why I was able to take the shot over everybody’s heads. It was crowded! Tourists taking photos, lovers kissing in front of everybody and probably angering half the crowd, and immigrants selling little cheap trinkets and miniature towers (you can see one of them bargaining with some tourists in the foreground). I probably took about 30 photos of the tower. Definitely touristy. Here are some more pictures:
The moon rose pretty early that evening, and even if I didn’t realize it at the time, this was just 2 or 3 days before that famous super moon! Which explains why it was so bright I guess. I actually don’t understand how the whole super moon thing works.
And the Eiffel Tower at night! The big white thing on the left is the moon. So bright and shiny!
